Family Pictures
After Jamie and her sister had the family pictures done (see previous post) the workers at The Picture People asked if they would mind signing a release form so they could display some of pictures in the store. Well it turns out they did a collage of the 25 pictures they took on the wall right behind the registers!Vacation
We have come back to reality as we have returned from our vacation in Brownfield and gone back to work! Our vacation was great if you loved rain, overcast conditions, spring temperatures, and cabin fever! Thank god we weren't staying in a tent-we literally had less than 6 hours of sun the whole time we were there and it poured at least once everyday!! We even left a day early so we wouldn't spend a possible nice day in the car returning home!
With that said though, Julian and his friend Keenan got plenty of swimming and fishing in, although the fishing was less than desirable compared to last year-and I'm sure it was the fish or lack of and not the fisherman! We got plenty of games of scrabble and card games in. Jamie was really bummed as there were no beach days to be had. Nolan took everything in stride and went with the flow. He did get to use his new life jacket out and go for a canoe ride with Jamie and I. Winston, our lab, had the grandest time and was most upset that we were leaving early as he got to swim and jump off the dock everyday!
Oh, we did have to take a trip to the ER in New Hampshire as Jamie managed to slice her hand open on a can of tuna fish! She got a tetanus shot and 4 stitches! I just can't take her anywhere!
