Mom, Dad...I wanna be a Rock Star!
Auntie Shawn got me this cool AB/CD t-shirt (after the rock group AC/DC). Then mom gelled and styled my hair like a true rock star! Now I'm just waiting for my agent to call me for my first gig!!Rock On!

Nolan's umbilical cord finally fell off on Thursday and he was able to get his first real bath!

CAUTION: OBJECTS MAY BE YOUNGER THAN THEY APPEAR!
However, they are as big as they appear! Nolan had his lastest checkup on Wednesday and he currently weighs 10lbs, 12oz and is 23" long. He gained 1lb, 12oz and 1" in length in 2 weeks drinking the Magic Milk!

"First Lesson"
Nolan received his first text book lesson (ha!ha!) tonight from the Black on White book by Tana Hoban. The butterfly and elephant caught his attention the most! Today we also discovered his fascination with sounds. When he's upset unusual sounds seem to calm him down. This morning it was the blow dryer and tonight he settled down after hearing the crinkling of a bag of chips!

"Pimp My Ride"
We traded in the sporty Volvo for a "crossover sports van" as Chevy calls it, but no one is fooling anyone here...its a MINIVAN! We swallowed a lot of pride to join the class of "Soccer Moms", but we're real happy with our new purchase. It's roomy, rides nice, has good gas mileage, and Julian loves the DVD player!
